Bentley PangbourneTheale-based company, Goringe Accountants, stages regular business networking events to help its clients make connections, forge alliances and win business.

Early in June 2013, the team at Goringe Accountants hosted a special evening to celebrate the company’s 6th anniversary.

Business Networking Evening At Bentley

Over fifty clients and friends gathered at the Bentley Centre in Pangbourne to mingle with like-minded business owners, sip Champagne and enjoy canapés from Cutting Edge Catering.

Six Years Of Success And Counting

Director, Nicky Goringe Larkin gave a short talk on the history of Goringe Accountants, peppered with top tips for longevity in business.  John Panczak and Nick Richards from Laudis, who are clients of Nicky’s, entertained with an hilarious customer service role play, entitled ‘10 points to help keep the customer at the heart of your business’.

Nicky commented:

John and Nick were really good sports; their rendition of what not to do in customer service was informative and very funny.  These networking evenings have serious business objectives in terms of learning from experts and making connections.  As it was a special occasion, it was nice to mix things up.

Another Goringe Accountants client, Russell Crook of Sire Technology, summed up:

I’ve always believed that Nicky and her team are able to add value to our business outside of accounts.  It was a delight to meet so many like-minded clients at this event — and once more I was able to take away some golden nuggets of information.

As well as these business nuggets, each attendee was given a 6th anniversary cup cake, topped with an iced Goringe Accountants logo.
