Accountancy Practice Excellence Awards

We are delighted to announce that Goringe Accountants are through to the second round in the 2012 AccountingWeb Practice Excellence Awards. This is the first year that we have entered ourselves for any awards, however, after a successful first 5 years of trading and growth, we thought it was time to put our toe in the water.

The AccountingWeb Practice Excellence Awards were attractive to us as they have a thorough selection process, starting with a client benchmarking exercise, the second phase is being judged by an expert group of judges and then the final short-listed practices are judged by their peers. A total of 70 accountancy practices entered the awards and 26 have made it through to the second round. The category that we have entered, Small Practice, is very popular and we are amongst a group of 10 firms through to the next round, other categories are new, medium-size and large firms.

The ultimate award for us is of course clients that are happy and stay with us forever. We are very lucky at the moment, as we have a regular influx of new clients and clients that are very loyal that have been with us since we started. We look after clients from start-ups to multi-million pound turnover clients, touching all sectors from construction, lighting design to IT contractors.

Any progress that we make in these awards is ultimately due to our fantastic team that continues to grow and works so well together. So thank you to the Goringe Accountants team! We look forward to our continued growth and our next 5 years. We have just finished our new 5 year business plan, and are very excited about what will happen in the next few years and continued growth of our Reading and London accountancy practices.
